Was just wondering what other Illustrators/Artists people love ( Apart from Rachael's Work Obviously!)
Personally I love the work by Mark Ryden, Junko Mizuno, Jhonen Vasquez and Roman Dirge to name the first that come to mind. I also love CLAMP's artistic style.

Modified to add:
Oh! Also if you like Illustration Pictoplasma/Pictoplasma 2 are awsome books!

Luis Royo, his work is very nice. I also like traditional chinese and japanese painting styles and i am a big fan of the Pre-Raffs (John Everett Millais' - "Ophelia" being my fave).

Julie Bell and Joseph Vargo, Julie isn't strickly on the gothic side but alot of the artwork is of a futuristic nature; not quite on the lines of Giger but a reasonable next option.
Joseph Vargo, well what can I say, I use the artwork he's produced to give my ideas while I'm doing my keyboard work.

Artist wise I'm big fans of the following...
Jason Engle Rion Vernon
Both are fantastic at what they do.
Jason Engle's Fantasy stuff is some of the best I've seen...period!!!

H.R. "mother fuckin" Giger! Aside from his holiness, I also like Jhonen Vasquez, and there are others, but I'm tired and can't think...

Giger is a king! Well if you look past all the fallases anyway I still think he's a bit disturbed but hey none of us are completley sane are we

I like the bio-mechanic element within Giger's work, and I also admire his technical skills...
Overall, I quite like his work but some of it seems a little too cliché and obvious for my taste.
The best artists tend to have mental problems or be disturbed in one way or another...

Personally, I will always have a huge soft-spot for Rodney Matthews. I loved his work from a very young age, as well as that of Brian Froud. Then there's the likes of Chad Michael Ward, who is just incredible, Giger (of course), Massimiliano Frezzato (his 'The Keeper of the Maser' series is stunning). There are so many more I should list, but I'll get around to it once I've had a coffee and have woken up sufficiently
