I'm the one with the pink dreads. they're only falls, but a mate said i should have them done permanently. If only I had the money!!! I'd do it myself only I don't know how or have the time!!! Got any tips for how to do it FG? Well I thought I'd post the link to the hair website I read... It tells you how to do braids/dreas etc... www.quinnster.co.uk/Sadly I no longer have big pink hair... reverted back to my black hair again. The forum on that page contains a wealth of information. If anyone decides to make their hair pretty they should post pictures!

I'm trying to get my hair highlighted silver but the only dye I can find is semi-permenant. Anyone know where I can get better stuff?

the problem with silver is, by nature, it's a difficult hair colour to do (because it's just kinda grey really) and my friend had the same problem (she wanted to do the fangirl thing and dye her hair like sephiroth from final fantasy VII) try talking to hairdressers as they might be able to do something more long lasting, and the effect may be better.

Yeah I can see both chemically and pratically why it's hard work but a lot of 'normal' salon owners i have spoken to said they are sure it can be done, they just don't know where to get the dye from, my own hairdresser julie said pointed out that its no harder than dying hair blonde but im not so sure about that ^.^ I'm not going all fanboy for it silver, I just thought it would look different to blonde or red, besides I would never dye my whole hair one colour, too much effort/money/upkeep.

The problem with silver is that you would have to bleach your hair before dying it if you want a decent effect (unless you're already blonde!) which doubles the cost, and then you have to be carful what dye you use because your hair has changed chemically. The only place i think might even possibly be of help is in manchester though, and as i'm in bangor til next week, i can't really go and ask for you!

Has anyone seen www.missneedles.com links there to ebay auctions, some really nice stuff. I don't know if there's an issue there with copyright though. The character is very like Rachaels artwork.
