Considering Rachaels work developed along these lines I thought I'd put this question in... What's your favourite Anime or Manga?
Love 3x3 Eyes and TokyoBabylon.
And an old favourite of mine has to be another by CLAMP, RG Veda.
As well as the likes of Akira, Ghost In The Shell, & Battle Angel Alita.

Umm.. well I really don't know much about Anime/ Manga. I guess I first came across it watching Pokemon.. if that counts... , so I love that! I've also just watched the Chobit series and I think it's great! Teehee So Pokemon and Chobits! Someone needs to educate me, lol.

But since there's a thread about films in here I thought - why not... Anyway... My favourites are Neon Genisis, Ghost in the Shell, Final Fantasy Unlimited, Hellsing and Oh! My Goddess Seen Hellsing, and Neon Genisis, but I'm more interested in what Final Fantasy Unlimited's like.

Pokemons not too bad I guess, I kinda got into it for a short while. And by the way, Virgin stores normally have a good section for anime (though the one near me has it right next to the adult section.) But truthfully I think most of the really good stuff never really made it over here, especially not on DVD. That's why multi-region dvd players are good, 'cos then you can get anime from further afield. Anyway, another to add to the list of want to see but haven't got, would be the NOIR series, looks interesting.

Vampire Miyu? I think I was tempted to buy that at some point just to see what it was like but never did.
As for Moon and Bebop... Never really been tempted to touch them. I don't know why but they make me think too much of Dragon Ball Z, something that took of pretty well and loads of people liked, but I never understood the fascination with it... LOL
But alot of the others I've never really heard of...

Some more I've just thought of that I like...
Princess Mononoke - huge spiritual/pagany overtones, with the forest/nature being destroyed through modern technology and pollution.
Blood : The Last Vampire - I like how it was put together graphically. But it's just a shame they didn't do more of a series, or made it into more of a feature length.

Hellsing .Hack (Sign and Liminality) Hellsing, I saw this and thought it could have been done a lot better, but still I kind of liked it. As for .Hack, I've got into that through a friend, and it's so much better when you have all the pieces of the story line. I played a couple of the games as well.
